Ext: I think the language device suit the reader because it uses retrospective which helps us understand what happened and it uses allegory which good because none of it isn’t about Pi.
I think the target audience is teenagers and above because it has a lot of graphic torture and sometimes unsuitable details for young children. I think the language devices are one that the audience can engage with because some people could engage with it if they have suffered like pi in the book and also because i think the language devices are easy to identify
