Mr North – Emotions – 16/1/13

Starter:

Sherlock looks quite horrofied in this picture because: his mouth is wide open which suggest that something has happened and also his eyes are also wide open which sugest that he is shocked or horrorfied of sonething that has happend.

1. The two shots are: close up and also long shot.

2. I think the shots are used to set tension/mystery in the scene with Watson and Mycroft.

3. Some of the emotion that I have identified are: Confusion, when Mycroft talks about the fact that Watson misses the war instead of fears it, Anger, when Mycroft is rude to him and lastly their is a hint of fear when watson is talking to Mycroft where he mentions
when he was in the war and ‘choosing a side’.

4. The lighting is used to create tension because it is quite light but the charaters have a lit of dark area on the face where their is no light on his face which set of some tension.

5. The Most domibant emotion in this extract is fear because: Mycroft says alot of key infomation which ia quite disturbing, The ligting is quite dark in most places and the music is quite scary which also sets lots of fear.
