The Trojan war took place in 13/12th century B.C Troy in Turkey. I was started due to Helen of Troy who was the wife of Menelaus, the king of Sparta being stolen by Paris of troy, This caused conflict between the two cities and thus the trojan war began. The war ended with the Greeks coming on top and taking victory over troy as the war ended with the deconstruction of Troy. The war lasted for 10 years and this is sourced for the book called the “Lliad” by Homer who was a very famous Greek author and poet

Its sounds in context that when compared to the israeli – Palestine conflict we could say that Israel is Troy and Palestine is the Greeks. I say this because in the israeli – Palestine conflict it started of by the Jews being re-homed to Palestine after the holocaust which caused tension because Palestine was a muslim country at the time and still is today. This means hundreds of people have died after somebody made a poor decision to risk re-homing people who were Jewish in a country that is predominantly muslim thus causing the tension it did and thousands of people dying just like in the trojan war troy was attacked against because of one person bad decision and in this case being Paris of Troy stealing Helen of Troy from the king of Sparta. In conclusion I can make that the trojan war and israeli – Palestine conflict are both centred on bad decision like in turn Agamemnon giving bresies back to Achilles or Achilles choosing to stab Agamemnon in the back by trying to leave the war with bresies
