Brian Woodland originally worked as van driver, farm hand, wine merchant and photographer. He was also an advisory drama teacher. He has made a bunch of different plays like A terrible madness, Death in the water and most notably our project This flesh is mine. The play previewed in the Ashtar Theatre Ramallah Palestine on the 8th of may 2014 and had its official premiered in Testbed 1 Battersea, London on the 19th may 2014. he is currently working a new play called when nobody returns that will be premiered in 2016 and serve as the companion piece to this flesh is mine.
He has won many awards over his playwright career including the: Double tongue which was an awards created by border crossings and he also won the Koestler award for his play stand or fall .
Brian Woolland also leads a series of 4 day courses on writing for theatre.
