The quote in the text to kill a mockingbird spoken by Mrs Meriwether is a classic example of hypocrisy in the missionary circle with the line ” You are Simply not being a good Christian today” This line represent Miss Merriweathers attitude against other people which is not very Christian like as she is being rude and over critical to other people even though she is proclaimed as ” the most devout lady in Maycomb” which following with the quote above would suggest differently to what other believe about her, this is a good representation of hypocrisy in To Kill A Mockingbird.
