Mr Waugh – The discription of Boo radleys house – 23/3/15

In to kill a mockingbird, the description of the boo radley has in my opinion creates parallels between the house and boo radley, for example the dark moon above the house in my opinion shows the idea that boo radley has come to a dark part of his life and the dark moon resembles this perfectly in its description of the dark moon. Words like grey and low also create mindset of ideas like emotion and feelings going thorough Boo radleys mind at this point in his life. In conclusion harper lees writing techniques are quite clever when the description describes both boo radley and his house at the same time with Gothic undertones like dark moon and words like low and dark being feelings or emotions
